Ultrasound

Over the weekend our family had the opportunity to go for another ultrasound of baby #3. It was a family affair. Living so far away from family & not having established babysitters yet, girls came along. They were so excited!

The little ladies were EXCELLENT! They patiently & quietly sat at the back of the room while mommy laid on the table & the ultrasound was performed.
Daddy was leaning right over the Ultrasound Techs shoulder taking in all he could of his new baby girl. With baby #2 having had so many ultrasounds daddy is very good at identifying body parts on the ultrasound.
The main purpose of this ultrasound at 30 weeks was to check out the baby's brain to ensure some cysts that were seen on an earlier ultrasound had dissolved & they had YAHOO.. hurdle #1

2nd check the size of the baby to make sure she's not TOO big approximate weight is 3lbs
9oz so within normal range for her gestational age.. Daddy kept trying to tell me her HEAD was really big.. HA ! HA!.. Ultrasound Tech assured me that it wasn't huge & that it's within normal sizes (lets hope not at the large end of normal). The only thing we didn't expect to hear is that at this time baby #3 is BREECH... feet & head are straight up under my ribs & her bum is down. Lets hope this changes over the next few weeks..
The Tech was great she took time at the end to show the little ladies different features of their new baby sister.
These are just two of the 4D pictures that were taken of our little miss who is due to make her arrival at some point around American Thanksgiving (end of November)
