SHOE DIVA

I am very lucky to have 2 young ladies however I think I have a FASHION MONSTER. The girls & I went shopping last week for fall shoes. We were lucky to find inexpensive shoes so the eldest got 2 pair & the younger 1 pair. They were very happy with these new shoes until we were out at a friends on the weekend & my eldest little lady acquired a bunch of shoes from her little friend (my daughters feet are very small, we love hand me downs) Now this little girl who had no shoes for fall has over 6 pairs & we can't wear the same pair with every outfit MOM!

Yesterday before going to pick up daddy from work the girls had their bath & then my Fashion Monster decided to put a very cute outfit together jeans & a long sleeve shirt and new (hand me downs) brown clogs. It was 30 degrees out yesterday but she had to look CUTE for her DADDY!!

We are now trying to pack for a extended weekend trip to visit family & this is turning into a nightmare. She is worried about the weather there & what shoes to pack. It's not so simple as mommy just tossing her cloths in a bag anymore. She need to coordinate outfits.. bottoms, tops & shoes.. Who would have thought this was that important to a preschooler.

The other little darling can't get enough DRESSES or CINDERELLA's as she calls them. I don't have enough dresses to get her through a week or all the changes in fall weather. One day it's 30 degree's the next it's 15. She doesn't understand that skirts are also cute! Luckily she isn't into the multiple pairs of shoes (yet) I know this is coming.

So a quick little weekend trip to visit family will involve the girls having more shoes/clothes packed than probably my husband and I but hey the kids will look CUTE & I guess that's all that matters.

I better go & try & help coordinate outfits so we can leave on time (tomorrow)..
