HUBBY is getting older

It's official he's older than me !! It's his birthday. The girls were all excited this morning for daddy's birthday. The girls filled his birthday card with paper and then our eldest had a 'popper' and scared her daddy. It was great fun. Can't wait to continue to celebrate once he's home from work and the girls from school.

Eve of my Birthday

Today is the day before my birthday. I have lots to be greatful for. An amazing hubby -he's taking the day off tomorrow to spend with me :)! Three beautiful little diva's who are full of energy & life & keep me running! .. I've been lucky to find a job I love which makes it tolerable to work mostly every weekend (being away from my family sucks)

I woke up this a.m determined to find an affordable way for us to take a DISNEY vacation this year. Only the big girl has been & she was only 8 months old. Hubby & I have only been a total of once also. I think the girls are at a GREAT age. The baby would be a good 2 and half this summer the big girls 5&7. Hubby & I haven't decided if we are done having babies yet. So we need to decide that before we book any big trips like this. Also need to decide soon cuz I'm not getting any younger especial on the eve of my birthday.

Birthday plans include breakfast in bed, going into the post office without helpers, Dinner out at Fogo de Chao with hubby, sister, her hubbby & a great canadian friend.

Birthday

Today is Veteran Day, Rememberance Day but even closer to home it's my hubby's birthday. I hope he has a great day.
Unfortunately he got his gift a week or two early so today he has nothing to open. :(
THe girl & I got him a heated vest/gloves for his motorcycle. He's been riding his bike to work even when the weather is barely above 0 (32F)

The Baby is TWO

It's official I am now mom to three ladies ages 2, 4, 6! Some days it is more like 12, 14, 16. If you ask the baby how old she is, she says 5 then you ask her again and the answer is 4 (if that tells you anything)! She still has her favorite blanket and her thumb when she's laying with her blanket. The other girls had soothers much easier to toss on their 2nd bday!

The girls got to spend an hour in Toys R Us picking out her birthday gift. Its amazing she didn't want everything. She picked a toy microwave (our friend has one & she plays with every time we are there) and then a little shopping bag full of play food. This was what grandma's money bought.

She looked at stuff and kept going. We must have went around the store 3 times before Mom & Dad finally picked out a couple things (stickers/toy cell phone). Mom and dad didn't get her much..LOL.

Now today she's tired/cranky and going to have a long nap. She hasn't been able to play with her new toys yet maybe after nap. That's what we get for letting her stay up late.

Almost six

Tomorrow my baby turns six. I can hardly believe it's been six years all ready. I remember going into labor like it was yesterday. It was a Saturday morning 3 weeks before my due date, I was having contractions. Got up did some laundry, had a shower, then hubby and I went to our favorite weekend breakfast spot. Having breakfast was a little tough cuz this was about four hours after I woke up and my contractions were regular and starting to hurt. Then we had to go to my big sisters house cuz the next day was the baby shower and she had bought , among other things the stroller car seat system. Got to the hospital early afternoon got checked in this was long due to SARS. Then the resident came to do an internal and surprisingly to everyone I was 5+ cm dilated half way there and my contractions stopped. Hubby and I were sent to walk walk and walk some more thankfully it was a nice day. 4 hours later I was still only half way dilated but they admitted me and we hung out in my room for the rest of the time. I spent hours in the shower. Sometime before midnight they broke my water. OUCH darn resident. Early may 4th we met our little peanut who is now a little princess.

For her birthday tomorrow she would like to

Get a hair cut
Pedicure
Go out for lunch and supper
To go shopping
And go out to the movie theatre

A true little lady wants all the pampering a birthday should be all about.

Tomorrow is a BIRTHDAY

Tomorrow one of our babies turns 4. I can't believe she's all ready 4. Time truly flies. Big sister & I ran out yesterday to get birthday gifts, that was tough. The girls have so many toys but all she's been asking for since before xmas was a "talking Dora doll house" however no where has it in stores right now. They do have a doll house but in our move it got damaged, they still play with it but they've been asking for a new one for a long time.
We got the birthday invite out this a.m. We are just going to go to the local bowling alley with 2 girl friends for bowling/pizza after swimming lessons. Then tomorrow night we are going to go for dinner as a family.
I'm thinking we will open gifts first thing in the morning so she can enjoy her presents all day.
I hope she enjoys her day! Nana sent her money so with that I got her some pieces for her new doll house & a bathing suit.

Where to start......

I'm a year older & Valentines day is over!

Wednesday Feb. 11 I took the little girls shopping and few pairs of rainboots were bought. (Mommy needed a pair & thanks to her inlaws for the cash). Wednesday afternoon was puddle jumping & fun in the mud. Then we were giving the girls a bath before dinner to warm them up, when I heard the garage door open. Humm what is hubby doing home so early. I had his valentines day gift on the counter. Thank goodness grandma was helping with baths so I ran, hid the gift & saw hubby. He greeted me with. "go change your pants" apparently he didn't like the mud streaked pants I was wearing. We then said good night to the girls (I thought I'd be back to give them kisses) but to my surprise we were going downtown for the night. Hubby had arranged with grandma that she'd keep the the kids for the night YAHOO for me!! We got to our hotel & had wine & then took a shuttle to an AMAZING restaurant.

Dinner ... the waiter showed us the menu with real food, live lobster ect. It was GREAT. The food was amazing, being just with hubby was great & wow it's not even my birthday yet.

We tried to sleep in on my bday however the cell phone rang. It was grandma they had been without power for 11 hours all ready. I guess we picked a good night
to be away. Opps. We went & had breakfast, a hot top then got ready for the day.
We went to the mall hubby got a new blackberry & I got his. Yahoo for me again. Then after lunch hubby took me to the spa where I would spend the rest of my afternoon. Feet, hands, massage & hair. WOW.. That was relaxing. We ended the evening off by picking up the kids and grandma & going to dinner! What an amazing birthday

3 weeks left till 1st birthday

I can't believe my baby is turning 1 here in 3 weeks! She's so close to walking. She can stand herself up in the middle of the floor & just looks around! She's still doesn't have much hair. Eating pretty much EVERY & anything. What to do for baby number 3 1st birthday!

And now she's 5

The party was a huge hit! Princess showed up on time all decked out in their finest. The Weather was great! Hubby did a wonderful job keeping the party running!
Started of with chariot rides to the back yard (john deer tractor rides). Then a craft painting the outside of small flower pots. We then made snow cones (brand new machine broke on 6th set ahhhhhhh) At least all kids got one (back to return that today!!) Then a pull string pinata lots of fun & surprisingly we got down to the last string before it opened all girls had two turns lots of fun. Then sing song & puppet show by the "king" himself (hubby wore many hats)! A little time for playing @ the swing set & just running around, plant flowers in the pots they decorated before Cake & presents! Boy what great presents she got. We finished off our big party with a little parachute playing in the front yard.

Count Down is ON

Every morning the "big girl" wakes up & asks is it my birthday. Response... "two more sleeps". Today we will be going out to get lots of "stuff" for the party! Today is thunderstorming, lets hope it's over by Sat. night so that the ground can dry & we can still have the party outside as planned! TWO MORE SLEEPS!

BIRTHDAY GIRL

Today our middle baby turns 3! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HER!.. I've been asking her all morning what she wants to do...here's the list

BAKE a chocolate Cake (mommy never bakes Chocolate anything.. grandma needs to be around for this.. mamma doesn't usually eat chocolate)
Play HIDE & SEEK
Go to the highest tower (not sure what this is... some princess thing I'm sure)

Hubby & I are thinking of taking her to the museum but that hasn't even crossed her mind.. Oh well let's hope she has a GREAT day

DING DONG

It's been a busy place chez nous this afternoon. I was originally trying to get a nap in but that didn't go well. The baby decided to wake up about 20 minutes into my quiet time. Then just as I'm done feeding her the door bell rang. The girls start running through the house screaming all excited. It was a box from the "NEW STORE" "my toothpaste" the eldest yells. Then we realize there are two boxes. The other box is a birthday gift from the Disney Store for our soon to be 3 year old. As we are opening the package she states..."yeah my own computer (laptop) so I can email". I know when I was 3 I wouldn't have said that maybe 23. It's a portable Princess Art Easel. They are nicely sharing this new toy right now! While I am typing to Auntie who sent the gift the door bell rings again & this time it's a gift from Childrens' Place. This box will remain closed till her actual birthday. But now I must go & check out my new Products.. I can't wait to clean!! Most of all I can't wait to share / introduce family & friends to these ecofriendly products!!!!
