Last weekend while doing our weekly yard work, my husband must have mentioned at some point (in front of the girls) that he needed to clean out the garage. I actually think it was while walking through the HOME DEPOT he mentioned that this winter he would clean out the garage.
Today after coming home from our walk/play at the park the girls wanted to stay in the garage & "play" while I got lunch together. So I closed the garage door leaving the man door open & start getting lunch together. While it's in the oven doing it's thing I run upstairs to reply to some emails. I hear my eldest come in asking if she can get a drink of water - yes of course you may is my response. Then as I am heading back down to check on lunch I hear her come in again asking for more water. "Boy you must be thirsty" is my comment to her & these big blue eyes look up at me to say "Actually mom I'm not drinking it I need it to play with out in the garage."
By this point I'm a little curious to see what's going on. Tell them to start cleaning up & pull lunch out of the oven. When I head into the garage to see what's going on. The youngest of my two little princess is DIRTY.. & the garage floor is SOAKED. Inquiring what's going on leads to .. the garage floor was dirty & I was using my bubbles to wash the floor for DADDY! The eldest was dressed in a nice white tank today that will now meet the bleach when I get around to doing the load of whites.
If it hadn't been lunch time I would have run for the camera for a picture of my dirty little princess but baby #3 was telling me I had to eat now no time for picture taking.
But just imagine the dirtiest you've ever seen a little girl & then some & that's what our little princess looked like today all before lunch.
She was only trying to clean the garage floor for Daddy is what the entire lunch conversation was about. I guess we always have to be very careful what / how we say things around little helpers because they hear & act on more than we'll ever know!
thanks DADDY!! too bad you are at work & can't help clean this one up! LOL.

This is such a kewl story and just like my little grandaughters. They love their daddy so much and pay attention to him always and want to help him. They see how hard he works for them. Thanks for sharing.
