Special Treat

My hard working hubby isn't always home in the evening & tonight is no exception. But the girls still maintain their schedule. Bedtime routine is started by about 645 & it's into bed by 7pm. I usually hit the computer after all is quiet & blog, check emails & such. So tonight after I was ready to head to my room to do other stuff I hear the "middle girl" still awake quietly talking to her animals in bed. I went in to give her a little extra love. She NEVER gets alone time with mommy especially now with a baby in the house! SO after our little snuggle session I was off to the kitchen to get my evening snack (popcorn) & a drink. I heard the pitter patter of little feet going to my room. It was this same little girl wanting more love from Mommy. So she crawled into my bed for some special cuddle time & shared my snack with me while we watch a little TV.
It is so GREAT when your little ones think / knows they are soo special & that they are getting to do something their sleeping big sister isn't. The huge smiles on her face .... PRICELESS. Rules are meant to be broken .. once in a while.
