Raisins......

The baby is wanting to be VERY independent, last night as I was finishing up making dinner she got out a box of dried raisins. Daddy helped her open them & she went to her favorite seat to eat her snack. She's getting so big. This morning was a different story. I smelt a DIRTY diaper! Of to the change table we went. Open the diaper & I was very surprised there were plump raisins all over the diaper. YUK

baby #3

You would think by the time baby #3 is up walking around I'd be more than in tune with the signs of potty training. Some days I'm so ready to be doing the potty thing & she's had some success. This morning I failed to see the signs. We had just given her a clean diaper & gotten her dressed. We then went to the laundry room to finish up our last load for the week. She left the laundry room and went & knocked on the bathroom door (have to keep it closed little girls leave the lid up all the time). I suggested she come back in and help mommy, then the shirt pulling started and then the stink came..We went to the bathroom but it was too late! AHHH what a waste of a clean diaper. I guess we are officially in full time potty alter mood. Fingers crossed.

Cloth Diapers

On January 2 we went totally cloth & are still using cloth diapers all day every day. But in the last week I've realized that I need something more for my diaper bag. Currently I bring a plastic shopping bag to put my daughters wet diapers in when we are out (if I remember to put one in my bag that is). So tomorrow I think the ladies & I will head over to the local fabric/craft store & see what we can get from the reminent bins to make something to hold these bulky wet diapers in! Stay tuned for an update

Diaper Service

would you use a cloth diaper on your baby if you had a service?? No more running out to get diapers because you forgot. Being more environmentally friendly. Using products on your baby that are more natural. Would you use a diaper service?

DIAPERS

Having a newborn equals changing MANY diapers a day! Today we went totally cloth. The last few weeks I've been using cloth & disposables here & there. But this morning from the minute she woke up till I put her down this evening was all cloth. We even ventured out twice today in cloth diapers. Usually I would change her into disposable for going out but I felt really adventurous today. Now lets see how long a package of disposables last me if I only use one a day (at bedtime)! Now I just have to teach hubby how to use them on her! Thank goodness they are velcro & not pins!
I'm very glad her room is right across from the laundry it makes the carrying that full diaper pail easy!
