American Education

My eldest has been a little chatter box today so I'm posting again (3rd one today) making up for the next few weeks when I start working & won't have time/energy to look @ this computer!

Today I am starting to learn the Pledge of Allegiance. Daughter told me today that every day when they get into school they STOP their coloring (sorry must learn to spell the American way) & stand up & say the Pledge facing the flag & holding their right hand over their heart. She only knew two / three words. So tonight I am busy looking it up & writing it down so we can practise that too! Oh the learning that hubby and I are doing. Hopefully it will be easier once the other girls get to school, doubt it but we can hope!
