TV

We have moved entered a new era we now have TV & more than 5 channels. We have 400+ channels & they are clear. No more snowy tv watching. Did I mention I can record, pause & rewind live tv. It rocks even if they were a day late in coming to install & if they took from 10 a.m - 530 pm to get the job done it was welll worth the wait. The girls are going to be so excited to find out that there is more to TV than PBS but it's going to be tough for them to pick what they want to watch with just limited tv time allowed. Got to run .. my tv is calling!

As some of you may know since we moved here Dec. 06 we've lived with little/no tv. When we moved in it was discovered that the cable wires that ran through our house were old & some were even cut (joys of an older home)! Hubby & I looked into having new cable run but it would have been $400. So we decided to live with the three channels off cable gave us. This summer we bought an antenna & now we have 7 channels.. slowly we are moving up!

Now with Grandma coming to visit for an extended period she's asked us to look into getting service to our place.. YAHOO!! (maybe the 2months last year when the baby was born was too much with for her with little tv) So we might before long have an actual selection of channels. The girls won't know what happened if we get all the kids channels. They've never seen Nickelodeon, Noggin, Disney Channel they've been very sheltered but they don't seem to mind.

Just waiting for the call back to see if AT&T Uverse is available in our location.. fingers crossed.

Premiere Night

The best part of fall, I think, has to be the start of new TV shows.. I guess once the girls are older it will be the fact that fall brings back to school. But right now it's TV's best nights that excite me when it comes to fall. After a long HOT summer & nothing but Re-runs.

On ABC I am looking forward to PRIVATE PRACTICE (Wednesday nights) & then on Thursday nights GREY'S ANATOMY.. yahoo tv season has begun. It's amazing that with only 3 off cable channels I can get the best shows..

I am sure there will be other shows that excite me but for right now I can't wait for these two medical drama's to get under way.. I am ever so grateful that the girls are on a good schedule & that bed time is 7-730 this leaves just enough time to to get any last minute things tied up & lets not forget snack ready & sit down & watch TV.. MOMMY time.. & when hubby isn't working exhausting late hours he does enjoy some shows with me as well

Better go & tidy the kitchen & get snack ready TV time is going to start SOON!
