Hubby has had his 2nd week of travel out of Country. He goes on a Monday a.m & returns on Friday a.m then I go to work Friday - Sunday. So we rarely see each other. But hopefully his travel will be done soon! Nobody sleeps well when hubby/daddy is gone away. The girls are waking up at all hours of the night. Today it started at 5 a.m (I should be happy it was 5). First the oldested crawled in & went to sleep with mama. Then the middle aobut 30 minutes later crawled in & went to sleep then aroudn 6 a.m the baby who doesn't know how to snuggle joined us. It was very quickly that I returned her to bed but then it was all over for anyone else sleeping. HAPPY DANCE hubby is on the plane as a I write this post

system ...kinda
With three kids & two working parents hubby & I sorta have a system. Since I work Friday -Sunday & hubby works the usual work week of Mon-Friday. I get Sunday -Wed. we split Thursday & he gets Fri-Sat.
Having three girls of all different ages/stages there is the chance that someone will wake at some point during the night, cough, cold, just to talk, bad dream or who knows for what reason.
Last night being a Wednesday night was kinda sorta my night. Well last night I must have been really tired. The littlest one woke up to just talk really loudly. Hubby had to wake me to ask if I was going to deal with her. I stumble out of my bed, walk around the room to get out the door. Except hubby had tossed the pillows off his side of the bed into the middle of the floor (path to get out the door) I tripped & knock something & made a loud noise. I chatted with little miss moo and she went back to sleep. I don't think hubby got any sleep during this ordeal. The joys of being working parents. Lets hope everyone sleeps well tonight.

Mama's tired & it's only Day Three
School is in full swing now for the next 20 years for our house & can I just tell you I'm exhausted all ready! Hubby has been very busy doing work in our office at night.. (more about that to come later) & with the Olympics on late into the night I'm a TIRED MAMA! We are all getting up earlier 7 ish to shower, eat & walk darling daughter to the bus stop!
This week has been bad for our little sleepers. The baby is fighting a real snotty nose & waking up lots at night. Our big girl is getting up frequently at night not wanting to miss school (has a clock but doesn't look at the time). Our other precious little sleeper is having a hard time falling asleep at night, she misses her sister so much in the morning (won't admit it) she just wants to talk when they go to bed at night.
So I am just going to have to learn to live with sleep deprivation for the next 20+ years, because I'm sure it doesn't get any better as they become teenagers.. Oh I am soo sorry I kept my mother up late & being the baby of 3 she must have been exhausted! Sorry Ma...
