Nursery - ready & waiting sorta

Over the weekend my hubby worked really hard to get the nursery ready, I think he was starting to get a little worried now that we are 35 weeks along & I didn't go to term with either of my other pregnancies. WE have only one problem. The last time he took the crib apart he miss placed 2 very important pieces & right now the crib front rail can not be installed due to this. So we are busy looking everywhere for where these 2 piece may have gotten to.. Any suggestions? The rest of the hardware was neatly in a Ziploc bag & taped to the rail so how 2 pieces are missing is any ones guess.

I LOVE the NURSERY and am looking forward to those long nights of nursing in there!! I have been found many times all ready just sitting in the rocking chair! It's such a calm/peaceful room. I am soo happy with how it turned out! Hubby was going to do a big mural on the brown wall but has decided it's just to elegant of a room to paint a mural that he's going to do it on a canvas so that it can be removed later. Hopefully our daughter loves the color as much as we do & we won't be redoing the room in 4 years.

Now to find the missing pieces before out little lady arrives.. or else the next pictures of the nursery might look a little different with a different crib. Fingers crossed we find the right parts.

Recent recalls of cribs unfortunately doesn't affect our crib or else our

problem would be fixed.

Nursery - painting

We have 7 weeks or less until our 3rd little bundle of joy is due to make her appearance (that's assuming I don't go over). Hubby started painting the nursery last week but then when we had unexpected company, the work got put on hold to enjoy our visitors. So last night we were back at it. I really want a brown & pink nursery & I am getting it.. Now lets just hope ultrasound technology is not wrong & this little lady doesn't turn out to be our little king.. Hubby will be rushing home to get any spec of pink out of there before his boy could come home.

Next up on the remodel will be painting trim, doors, installing flooring, then furniture.. I can hardly wait. Hubby is also planning some mural on the large brown wall but is not letting me in on what the design will be..I will be locked out of the nursery once it's started until it is done. Our bedding has no animals or design other than large squares of pink/ brown. humm what could he be planning.

And now on to the NURSERY

This weekend I started week 32 of this pregnancy so 8 weeks to go.. I'm thinking we need to get a place for this little lady to sleep! So now with the two big girls in their new room it's time for hubby to get to working on the nursery. This room is HUGE... 19 feet 5" by 12 feet 2" & no we didn't give up the master bedroom for this baby. The bedrooms in our house are just BIG!!!

Sunday was a trip to the local Hardware store to pick just the right shades of brown & pink. Surprisingly our eldest walked up & picked a pink after daddy had been looking for several minutes.
They continued to walk around & the youngest found the shade of brown hubby liked. I guess my girls are gifted with colour. I am so happy they take after their daddy when it comes to art. I am lucky if I can draw a straight line using a ruler.

We returned home after leaving a deposit of cash at the hardware store & the clean out began. By the end of the night hubby had taken all the carpet, under pad & carpet nail strips out of the room patched any holes in the wall. Now we'll start painting whenever hubby can make it home from work before bedtime. The goal is to have this room done before I am into my 34th week. Lets see how it goes.
