HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT HOLIDAY!!!

July 4th is quickly approaching & I was very late in getting out to get our annual t-shirt. Went this am to get them from Old Navy only to find out they aren't carrying them in the stores anymore! So then it was a long hunt to find some where that was stocking a nice/inexpensive 4th t-shirt. I LOVE TARGET..

HOLIDAYS

We are officially one week from SANTA's arrival. I think I am ready! Over the weekend we went & picked out the perfect tree. Hubby & the eldest ended up having this task on their shoulders as the two younger ones were sleeping in their car seats so mommy had to stay in the VAN!
Our middle daughter ran around all weekend bursting into song about her "new tree" & could not wait to put on the star! It was her year & boy she was excited.. all she wanted was to have daddy lift her up & place the star on top of the tree!

Currently we have enough of that white stuff on the ground for a white Christmas - no more snow required!
My girls are very excited for Santa to come now that the tree is up & decorated, the stockings are hung & Grandma is starting to talk about the yummy desserts she will be baking!
HO HO HO!! MERRY CHRISTMAS... Let the holidays begin!

CANADIAN THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Happy Thanksgiving to any Canadians who may read my blog. It is very weird that two very similar Countries that connect to each other @ 8 States or 7 Provinces & 1 Territory don't share the same time for this TURKEY holiday!

Since we had a surprise visit from my sister & her hubby this weekend & the fact that baby #3 is due 2 days after Thanksgiving (American) we decided to celebrate with the Canadians on the WONDERFUL weekend.

We were able to have a dip in our pool & then enjoyed Turkey & all the fixing. The gravy could have been better however hubby decided to come into the kitchen just after I had drained the potato water into a bowl (in the sink) & he dumped the bowl of water down the drain! Oh well .. The girls just love getting dressed up & have "big family dinners" so they were very excited to be having this dinner even if it's way earlier than Thanksgiving. They especially like the fact that big family dinners usually means DESSERT.

It is now 730 & I think everyone in my house is sleeping aside from me.. QUIET TIME.. YAHOO
