wow you'd think my little Canadian girls have never seen snow before.
It is barely snowing right now & they are all geeked up & outside to see what it's like. The snow is so slight that I can't even get a real picture of it. Wonder how long they'll stay outside. oh spoke too soon that was 2 minutes. Oh wait that's my american girl needing Gloves..

More SNOW
Yahoo it's snowing again but I think my girls are getting SOFT. We got all bundled up & outside we went to shovel the 2+" of snow we got this morning. But I could have stayed & played once the drive was done but I realized I had all ready lost one to inside & the other was on her way into. What's up with my good little Canadian Girls. We won't even talk about my American born. She has no use for the snow what so ever so that's why we go out when it's her nap time. But Canadian girls what's up. The weather is 12F so maybe it's a little cold.

SNOW = OUCH
I heard the final tally was 12" of snow in 1 day. Around here that is enough to shut down most towns. The girls & I suited up & got outside 3 times yesterday. The 3rd & final time for the day is the one that is giving me the most pain. We have the extreamly LARGE driveway & lets just say 95% of it is cleared of snow. Hubby was home & he's a work horse. OUCH is all I can say. I'm surprised I can even type right now. My typing teacher won't be impressed with my posture but hey I'm using all my fingers to type..LOL..
Now today the task it to figure out what to do that won't cause mama too much pain & again my kindergartner isn't at school (darn delays).

OH SNOW
Wow did we get SNOW.. They say at least 10" fell over night & in our town that's a lot. The schools were closed, many business are not running & if they are open it's with minimal staff. They aren't prepared like Northern Ontario, for a really snow fall.
The little ladies & I took full advantage of this vast amount of fresh fluffy snow. (not snowman material though) We've had two plays outside today. Oh the snoring that will be heard here tonight. But let me tell you I'd rather do a months worth of laundry than try to shovel our driveway. Visualize this; 3 Garage & a driveway that could easily hold 7-9 cars. Yep it's large. I got maybe 1/16th of it shoveled. Yes we have a snow thrower however with the huge lack of snow here it hasn't been used in 2 years, there was no way I could pull start the silly thing today. Sorry hubby, we tried.

SNOW FUN finally

We finally had enough snow, no rain & sunny day to be able to play outside & enjoy the winter (before spring arrives). This weekend we all went outside & played. We built a snowman in the front & back yard, then a snow ball fight (one-sided from daddy) & then a snow fort was built & a little sledding occurred. And only once did the sled crash into a tree.. no children we injured.
The baby loved her afternoon nap outside in the fresh air!

LET IS SNOW ... on Christmas day
It is the 4th of December & all through the house not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse (yahoo for that). The grass is still green & in the neighbours yard some spring bulbs have started to grow (whats up with that).
But the weather man says its going to SNOW!!!! Lets hope that when it snows, our town is a little more prepared than the only snow fall last year which shut down our city for days!
What to do tomorrow with the kids on a SNOW day.. lets just hope we have boots to fit all little ladies. I don't want to be like every other parent running out to buy boots for their kids on the first snow fall!
