Great Baby Gift

One of my favorite baby gifts isn't for baby at all, it's all about mommy time before baby arrives. This has been something I look forward to during all three of my pregnancies, the last 4 weeks before my due date getting a PEDICURE. Lets face it reaching your toes nearing the end isn't something that many women can easily do. Many people aren't concerned about what their toes look like but I have this feeling that EVERYONE is looking at my toes during delivery.

That's about all I get to see while pushing the little monkey out of me. So it's a great motivator to hold that push to look at nicely polished toes. So thanks to a GREAT FRIEND I was treated to a pedicure today. 1 hour of rest/relaxation & now beautiful toes.. & I made it home without any damage to the toes (often hard as weather changes & sock/shoe requirements change). Now the only other thing that would be PERFECT right now would be going for a nice slice of CHEESECAKE.. but with Gestational Diabetes I'll just have to dream about it!!
