fall Fun

For those of you that know me, know that I'm not a fan of BATS. In 2003 when my baby was weeks old we had a bat in our house AHHHHHH. Not a fun adventure.

Fall Break 2010

Fall break is here yesterday we had a lot of fun. It was a fun day at the Children's museum & the haunted house (lights on). 2 of the girls would not enjoy truely spooky haunted house. My big girl lost another tooth and received a visit from the tooth fairy. Today we went to Walmart & bought Halloween costumers (I think this is the first time I've ever bought costumes). The baby is a little under the weather with this another cough and her asthma acting up!
maybe tomorrow will be a family fun day at the zoo weather permitting.

Fall Fun

The girls are LOVING the beautiful weather we are still having. They have been outside since they got home from school playing on their play set. This has allowed me to good dinner, figure out my mom's birthday gift and do some laundry.
The girls are going to be in culture shock by Friday when the "cool Canadian air" hits the area. I guess it had to come to an end. They are only calling for a few days of cooler weather & and cooler weather = 66F. Not really cold for middle of October. What will we do over fall break. Thursday & Friday the girls will be off.

Fall Fun

Today was a GREAT FALL day the weather was beautiful ! We had a wonderful family Sunday.

Started off with a little bit of a sleep in by all (yahoo) then a big pancake breakfast (chef hubby). Then everyone went outside to enjoy the day. We live on property with a few trees & at this time of year that means a lot of leaves - so hubby was driving around on his tractor for a few hours mulching up the leaves. Last year we did 120+ lawn bags full of leaves not this year!!

Then after that hubby cleaned an area out under a 2nd floor deck to put the girls toys so that I no longer have to move them in/out of the garage so that they may play & they are still covered so that the rain/snow won't be too bad for them. Girls love their new play area!

The garage is now ready for Grandma to come & actually park her car in our 3 car garage when baby #3 arrives, & there will also be room when Auntie/Uncle come for xmas for their car too. Hubby's been busy cleaning the garage!

Then after a long hard day of watching hubby work we sat down out in the newly cleaned/organized garage & carved pumpkins. Hubby & the eldest worked on one & little miss & I did the other. I am so proud of hubby/eldest team he let her draw the face & use a pumpkin carving knife to make her pumpkin face. This had to be very hard for hubby he's a great ARTIST & does amazing pumpkins but he let her carve away giving her a little guidance but did not take over.. The youngest decided what shapes the eyes, nose, mouth would be & I drew them as per her direction then cut them all out. We had a great time.

We then came in to a dinner all ready LOVE the crockpot/slow cooker !

Fall family days are GREAT
