BAGS

I have started cleaning out the closet in the nursery which some how has become a bit of a collect all place. All my non prego clothing went in there & a lot of previous baby stuff also went in there knowing that we would some day turn it into a nursery again.

I think I have a bit of a bag, diaper bag issue to be exact. With Baby #1 we got two diaper bags.. the one I used daily was rather small & strapped across my chest (bag in back) .. this was great because it never fell forward & hit the baby, but I found that the Velcro didn't last more than a year! The other bag we got with baby #1 was just a black regular style bag for hubby to use when he took his daughter out.. that one didn't see much action but I'm sure it will be hubby's bag of choice again with his little darling as it was with Baby #2.

Baby #2 found me having two other bags. Once custom made that was a great size but didn't have a cover on it so if the weather was bad then stuff was exposed. The other bag that I most often used was a great PINK bag covered in vinyl however the vinyl outcover has had the biscuit & bag must be tossed.. Having a hard time parting with any of these bags.

Baby #3 received a great diaper bag @ last weekends shower. Custom made with input from me (hopefully I know what I want in a diaper bag by baby #3) It has a long strap so that I can wear it messenger style so not to hit baby in head when bending over, pockets on the inside with zippers to easily find stuff, covered top to keep stuff dry inside & is in my favorite colours PINK & BROWN.

I LOVE my new diaper bag & when my friend is ready I will put up her site so you can see what other great things she can make!!

Now it's time to start putting stuff in there. Currently there are 5 diapers & a small package of wipes but I some how don't think that will be enough. It's going to be hard to get used to leaving home with a stocked bag again as this has not been needed in almost a year.
